The general nature and purposes of the Brevard County Dental Society is to cultivate the art and science of dentistry, together with its collateral branches; to elevate and sustain the professional character of dentists; to encourage and provide continuing professional education and to promote quality dental care for the public. Furthermore, it shall collectively represent the dental profession in the community, providing liaison between the profession and the public, assisting in promulgating dental health information, participating in programs to improve the dental health and welfare of the community, and providing emergency dental care on a voluntary basis.
The Brevard County Dental Society participates in the annual National Children’s Dental Health Month not only through volunteering for in school orations, but also our Annual Tooth Trot in which the proceeds benefit The Give Kids A Smile program in Brevard County.

The Give Kids a Smile program is designed to provide chair side education, preventative and restorative care to children who do not have access to care. Below is GKAS registration process.

The Brevard County Dental Society members volunteer their time and resources for the Volunteer Adult Clinic which provides restorative care for adults who do not have access to dental care. The Brevard County Dental Society also provides scholarships for Brevard Community College Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs.
